Deciphering Symptoms Deadly cold air dominates the room and it's entirety as if it were Medusa's final breath. I can hear technical sounds coming from outside the walls, but I don't know which wall it is. Out of the small cracks in the ceiling crawls a light green gas. It smells like painful memories and heavy sighs. I can feel non-living creatures swimming through my veins and into my mind. But I'm losing my mind anyways, so they can have the burden of an organ. I'm SO relieved to find someone else who doesn't just write about Japanese folklore and stuff. It's interesting, until you've read stories about the same legends OVER AND OVER.

Technically, the story is a spin on old legends, just a whole bunch of my own ideas thrown in there. But, seeing as how nobody can tell what the hell it is, I guess I'm doing a good job straying around from the generic. Probably the next part will better reveal what the legend is...
And thanks for the comments, I've been trying to tear myself away from my style of writing little by little to improve overall but it proves to be hard to break old habits
